Data Decryption

Once PCI Certification has been Approved than a merchant can gain access to the Data Decryption Feature in AMG SecurePay. We stress that the PCI Certification needs to be Approved before this feature can be activated.

If you are the type of merchant that needs to check information about a transaction against the customer Payment Information and / or credit card information, Data Decryption certainly gives you that ability. With Data Decryption, merchants can ontain the full credit card number of any transaction done in the past for information purposes.

A user who is authorized to use Data Decryption on AMG SecurePay may also use this feature so long as the administrator grants them the ability to do so. But this information is not just laying around on the transaction report waiting to be pulled off by a user, No. Instead, each user will need to verify their Password if they want that credit card number. Thus keeping the information secure and PCI Compliant.
